About the Author

Jan Irvin holds two Master’s Degrees and has worked most of her life in industrial safety and health through her business, Compliance Central. A self-described “OCD Organizer”, this book was initially a result of her own near-death experience that caused her to evaluate her own preparedness for what is next. Her research and drive to understand the process in terms of final affairs are the result of a deep desire to not only be ready herself, but to help others prepare as well. She resides in East Texas with her husband, Rick.

After nearly dying of appendicitis a few years ago, I thought I might better make sure our affairs were in order. I really didn’t believe it would take long….. OH MY GOSH! I learned that over 80% of people die totally unprepared!!! Don’t do that to your loved ones! Realize that the minute you fall gravely ill, the buzzards start to circle! There’s a lot you need to know, and usually those you leave behind are clueless as to what to do, still reeling in the grief of your passing. If you are between the ages of “sixty five and death”, I urge you to be prepared for this big moment in your life! I’m sure there may be some situations I did not address, as the topic is so huge, but you will get basic instructions here on how to prepare a 3 ring binder with step by step, simple and logical instructions for your loved ones that will give them a huge smile of relief!! This book is largely geared for believers, and so I will tell you most optimistically that if I never see you here on earth, I will see you in our new home!! Thank you for giving this book a read!!
